Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, Approved by AICTE Affilated to Rajasthan Technical University (Kota), was established in the year 2002 with an intake of 240 students. The intake was further increased to 300 in 2004 and 480 in 2007, Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women is promoted by Chandrawati Education Society with the aim to enable the girl students to unchain barriers to reach greater heights. RCEW is the first and only girls' engineering college in Jaipur.
The college is located very close to National Highway No.8 on Jaipur-Ajmer segment. It is 12 kms from railway station and central bus stand and 15 kms from the Airport. The college is well connected with bus service at intra-city level and with rail, road and air at intercity level. The college building is not just aesthetically built but is also very functional and well set in a green environment.RCEW has proved his excellence with the result of I batch of students passed out in 2006 when its students bagged three university positions. The institute has a wll established Training and Placement Department headed by a senior faculty members.The Department approaches invites potential employees for campus placement beside arranging seminar, workshops and gfuest lectures. Prime objective of the Institute is to enable every student to learn in congenial and free environment. The emphasis is on quality teaching, continuous monitoring and evaluation through tutorials, regular laboratory classes and expert lectures from the eminent guest faculty. Emphasis is also given to co-curricular activities and sports as to develop the personality. On completion of stupendous, successful and eventful Eight years of Rajasthan College of Engineering for Women, I wish to place on record my heartiest felicitation and deep appreciation to the faculty, staff and our dear students.
