About MCA

The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) is a master's degree in computer science, which attracts people from a wide range of academic disciplines. The core courses of this program are designed to introduce students to the various areas of computer science and engineering such as computer programming, software engineering, computer networking, database management, and computer graphics . The MCA course was originated in the India from the late 20th century as the country began its journey towards becoming an IT superpower. In our College it was started in the year 2008. The programme is affiliated to Rajasthan technical university, Kota and approved by All India Council for Technical Education.

MCA programme is divided in six semesters to equip students with the various aspects of computer programming, operating systems, DBMS, networking, computer oriented numerical methods, compiler and digital systems, various programming languages, software engineering, software project management etc. In the final semester an MCA student takes a industrial training and internship from the reputed industries and develop projects over there in appropriate computer language.

About RMCAAT

Rajasthan Masters of Computer Application Admission Test (RMCAAT) is an entrance test conducted every year for young enthusiastic graduates aiming to join Master of Computer Applications (MCA). This is one of the well-known entrance exams conducted in India. Master of Computer Applications (MCA), which is very reputed course, has a wider scope in the world. There are end numbers of students taking part in the entrance test conducted by RMCAAT.

Rajasthan Masters of Computer Application Admission Test (RMCAAT) is gate way for students to get placed in the reputed universities in Rajasthan. The test is conducted every year and the many students from the state of Rajasthan as well as all over the nation apply for the test.

Structure of RMCAAT

The structure of RMCAAT entrance test is very simple; it consists of a total number of 200 questions with multiple choice keys. The objective type questions carry one mark each. The specialty of the entrance conducted by RMCAAT is that there are no negative marks for wrong answers. The test will cover different subjects. The basic objective of the test is to test the knowledge of the students in core subjects like mathematics. Apart from mathematics the test also include elementary computer knowledge and reasoning. The language in which the test is conducted is English. The time limit allotted for completing the test is two hours.
