Nature and Extent of involvement of faculty and students in academic affairs/improvements

There is a provision of in house training of new recruited faculty members by senior faculty members of the college.


Director / Principal and Senior Faculty members to improve the classroom teaching of faculty members by attending/inspecting of the classes. All the faculty member submit their notes of the subjects prepared by them in the library, which helps the students to save their time in making notes. Every faculty members is required to prepare a question bank covering his/her entire subject. These include descriptive questions, numerical questions, short answer questions and multiple-choice question and are made available to students through hard copies in the library. The students are motivated to solve these questions and submit the same. Every faculty member submits topic wise schedule and allocate time for its completion. He/she is also required to submit list of text and reference books along with the number of copies he/she likes to be in library and number of copies he/she would likes to be in the library.


Every faculty member is required to take an attention test after a topic is completed to know the level of understanding of the students. 20 students are assigned to a faculty member who counsels them for academic and other institute related matters.

Students having any problems in academics can go to their batch counselors if the problem cannot be sorted out at this level than they can go to the higher authority through a proper channel, similarly hosteller students can meet warden and then to chief warden. College has Parent Teachers Association and Alumni Association to seed advice suggestions and ideas to improve the facilities of the college.

Student Feedback on Institutional Governance/faculty performance. College takes the feedback at least once in a semester from the students about the faculty as well as for college to improve the facilities.
